You can permanently delete your Nivora App account yourself, at any time, without contacting us. Deletion cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

On the website

Sign in to your account.
Open Settings and scroll to the Danger zone.
Choose Delete my account, then type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm.

In the Android app

Open Settings and scroll to the Danger zone.
Tap Delete Nivora account, then type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm.

The app also removes the data stored on your device and cancels any reminders it had scheduled.

What is deleted

Your account and the data that belongs only to you: your profile and profile picture, login history and security tokens, support messages, and every book you own that is not shared with anyone — including its transactions, accounts, budgets, planner tasks, notes and attachments. The same email address can be used to register again afterwards.

What is kept

If you were a member of a book owned by someone else, that book and its history stay with its owner. Your past actions there appear as "Former member" instead of your email address.
An administrator audit trail of account-management actions and a short-lived log of emails we sent are not tied to your account and are not removed with it.
Backup copies made before you deleted your account may contain your data until those backups are themselves deleted. We do not promise instant removal from backups.

If deletion is blocked

If you own a book that is still shared with other active members, deletion is blocked until you remove those members from the book. Nivora App does not support transferring a book to another owner yet.

If you cannot sign in

Contact us from the email address registered on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that you own the account before deleting anything.
