Start a separate book
Give the business its own book and currency, keeping accounts, categories and transactions separate from your personal book.
Keep business spending apart from personal finances with a dedicated Nivora book. Record income, expenses and transfers, follow account balances, and review the history behind your numbers.
Explanation only, not a product screenshot or your financial data. This difference is based only on recorded entries — not a verified profit, tax or cash-flow calculation.
Use the same entry flow whether you're running a small shop, managing freelance work or keeping side-business costs organized.
Give the business its own book and currency, keeping accounts, categories and transactions separate from your personal book.
Enter sales or other income, business expenses, and account transfers. Choose an account and category; attach a receipt when helpful.
Filter transactions, review income-versus-expense summaries, and export transaction history to an Excel workbook when needed.
Switch between business and personal books without blending their transactions. Within the business book, cash, bank and other accounts help you understand where recorded money sits.
Books can also have invited members with owner, editor and viewer access. Permissions decide who can change records.
Explore expense trackingIllustrative book names and details, not an authenticated product screenshot.
From purchases to money owed, keep the practical information you need close to the original entry.
Track recorded balances for cash, bank, savings or other accounts. An account transfer moves money between accounts rather than adding a new expense.
Use People ledgers for money lent, borrowed, paid or received. Review dated entries and create a read-only statement link when appropriate.
Explore the People ledgerAttach images or documents to a transaction, with its description, category, date and other details. This is recordkeeping, not invoice generation.
Download your recorded transaction history as an .xlsx workbook. Review the entries yourself before using them for accounting or tax purposes.
Review recorded income, expenses and net movement over a selected period, with spending-by-category summaries and saved report snapshots.
Store bank account details such as IBAN or SWIFT/BIC. Display a QR code containing the stored account text; it is not a bank-integrated payment request.
Nivora is a manual ledger and expense tracker, not a full invoicing, inventory, tax-filing or bank reconciliation system. Recorded income minus expenses is not automatically the same as accounting profit. Use professional advice for tax and financial reporting requirements.
